Weekly Energy Report (09/16/2019)

Energy prices continue to rise, based on continued warmer-than-normal weather, an active tropical weather season, and a storage report that wasn’t terribly reassuring last week. We will be watching closely for price increases this week brought on by the events in Saudi Arabia over the weekend, as well. Unless you have been backed into a corner by the calendar and need to execute a contract this week to avoid market-based-prices, we are recommending remaining on the sidelines for the near term to allow these short-term influences to clear the market.
