The energy markets gave us fair warning that prices can’t continue to drop or stay this low forever, with the 12-month strip up a few cents and the longer strips flat or off slightly. The weather looks likely to provide some upward pressure on prices, with the rest of the fundamentals neutral or only slightly bearish — now is the time to get your rates protected if you haven’t done so already.
