A Jump in Winter Gas Prices, and a Break from Hurricanes: The Beacon, 09/28/2020

The Headline:   A front end price rebound pulls prices up, great gas storage numbers but a small injection, and a break from all these hurricanes!

The Bottom Line:    Gas prices jumped up through the winter, and also after 2023, with a flat market in between.   Natural gas in storage continues to set 5-year highs, drilling rigs in the field had another good week, and NOAA forecasts no tropical weather threats at the moment.  All of the annual price strips are up based on the front-end activity, but are still priced very attractively.
