The Roller Coaster Continues…again. The Beacon, 11/29/2021

The Headline:   More volatility last week, with a big price jump on Friday.                   

The Bottom Line:    The energy markets are still struggling to find a rational price level and the fundamentals to drive it.   After plenty of volatility during the week and the Thursday holiday, energy prices on Friday jumped by 5-8% despite bearish weather, a middling gas storage report, and a falling stock market.  This market continues to defy expectations, and sometimes even explanation.   Make sure you talk with Lighthouse before taking any action – a clear strategy and the right timing will be critical to avoid unnecessary expense.
