Short-term prices continue to slide, but gas prices overseas still matter. The Beacon, 10/25/2021

The Headline:   Prices through 2022 drop on improving North American fundamentals, but European gas prices are still holding prices above what the fundamentals would suggest.

The Bottom Line:    Improving storage numbers, warm weather forecasts, and a recognition by the market that LNG numbers are near max capacity helped to lower prices in 2021 and 2022.   Longer term prices are up only slightly.  If you are hedged and can stay on the sidelines through the winter, we recommend you do so.  If not, schedule a talk with Lighthouse before taking any action – timing your buy correctly in this market will be essential.
